Nanouche Oriano is a French-born London-based artist, puppeteer, traveler and dreamer. She considers herself more of a citizen of the World due to her mixed European origins, as well as a whole lifetime moving around various countries and cultures, with the first few years of her life spent in Senegal, which left a deep imprint on her soul. Over the past 10 years, she has traveled, worked and trained extensively around Asia and the Middle East. She specializes in puppetry, site specific performance, and visual art (drawing, murals, moving image...), always looking for a balance between her East and West influences. Most importantly, she is always keen on sparking connections between and with people, via the visual language of live puppets.
